For the past three years, seventeen-year-old native San Antonian, Arman Diego Polanco, has spent his summers abroad in Taiwan, training in taekwondo with the National Taiwan Sports University. Diego admires the Taiwanese culture, and believes his trips abroad give him a further sense of purpose with his sport while being able to perfect his poomsae forms without distractions. Belt tests are a very exciting time! The students are able to show what they've learned during the last three months and, of course, earn their new belts!
Make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early. Starting times depend on the student’s level. Students should wear their full uniforms, no t-shirts. Students must turn in their intent to promote forms prior to testing.
Elite Karate would like to congratulate Master Elva on her recent accomplishments at the WTF World Championships in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Master Elva’s team took home the Bronze medal in their division. Master Elva shone in the individual category as well, landing the Bronze for herself! Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Elite Karate offers a fun day camp. It’s a great way for the kiddos to spend their Thanksgiving break. We’ll play games, practice Taekwondo and even take a field trip to Chuck-E-Cheese! The kids will be active and busy all day, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Please bring lunch, snacks and uniform in order for your child to participate in Taekwondo class. Pricing: $110 for all three days $40 per day, with $5 discount for additional family members.
